We are a thriving, privately owned, specialty referral and emergency veterinary practice located in the Latham, New York. We offer a congenial and cooperative work environment with board certified specialists in Cardiology, Critical Care, Internal Medicine, Neurology, Oncology, Ophthalmology, Radiology, Rehabilitation, and Surgery. We are a 24/7 hospital offering emergency walk-in care.
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dynamic Office Manager to join our team as a client service leader. The Office Manager would provide oversight to the front office team to ensure high-quality customer service to each of our clients. Responsibilities include: training and coaching Client Relation Specialists; team building; being the liaison to the medical staff and management in order to provide an understanding to the front office team; developing protocols to improve efficiency and effectiveness for the hospital; handling billing and financial discussions with clients and managing the front office staff schedule.
The candidate must possess excellent communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative, and team-oriented environment. The ability to handle multiple tasks at once and strong, professional customer service skills are essential. Candidates should have demonstrated abilities to motivate and develop team members in order to help us continue to offer exceptional service. Prior experience as an Office Manager in a customer service environment is required. Experience in human medicine or a veterinary hospital is strongly preferred. The office manager should be flexible with their schedule in order to be available to our swing and overnight staff.
