Tri-County Veterinary Services is a privately owned, 4-doctor practice seeking 1 or 2 FT/PT small animal or mixed animal veterinary associates who are looking to develop their skills and have some freedom to achieve their life objectives. We seek associates who wish to practice excellent and compassionate medicine while working with an encouraging team of staff and doctors. This is a full-service veterinary hospital offering medical care, soft-tissue surgery, some orthopedic surgery, dental prophylaxis/surgery, and more. We have all of the usual equipment used in today's modern hospitals. The small animal portion of our practice sees primarily dogs and cats, but some doctors treat small mammals as well. The small animal/large animal ratio is about 75%/25%. After hours emergencies are referred to a Harrisburg emergency service.
We also operate a satellite clinic one mile from the main office that functions as a spay/neuter clinic, and a new associate would have the option of participating at that clinic. Experienced veterinarians or senior vet students are encouraged to apply.
A hired associate will need to be licensed in PA and will be expected to see appointments and do common soft tissue surgeries and dental work. If also interested in working with dairy/beef cattle, pleasure equine, or sheep/goats then we can make that happen.
